I am a biologist from the University of the Amazon, Colombia. I am primarily interested in the biology of the South American herpetofauna, as well as their natural history, behavior, conservation, thermal tolerance, biogeography, and evolutionary biology. I am PhD from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and my research addresses how behavioral thermal tolerance is related to the ecology, geographic distribution, Evolutionary biology and natural history aspects of South American Ectotherms. I am founder and coordinator of the research group in ecophysiology and biogeography of vertebrates (EcoBioVert) associate with the group on biodiversity and Amazonian development (BYDA) at University of Amazon in Caquetá-Colombia.
